My Seed Babies…

It all started wHITH AN IDEA…

As I learn more about the role that women played in the history of fabric - from gathering, rendering and processing into it thread, fibre and textile. I started to see a connection to the language and metaphors that are still being used today. How is the pull to textiles so deep that we remember almost instinctively how to stitch things together as in thought, or depend on our moral fibre to guide us? What can I learn about the women’s work that has woven so many stories, knitted together garments and created a foundation for civilization from growing my own flax to processing it into linen?
